Creative

Creative objects contain visual or interactive content displayed to users within the application. They are used in Remote Config scenarios to configure promotional materials, UI elements, and other user-facing experiences without requiring an application update.

This section serves as the main entry point for Creative documentation.

Purpose of Creative

Creative objects are used to:

  • store visual and interactive assets;
  • provide content for Parent Campaigns and Nested Campaigns;
  • configure promotional and monetization experiences;
  • manage user interface and gameplay-related content;
  • update user-facing content without publishing a new application version.

Each Creative type is designed for a specific purpose and contains its own set of configuration parameters and behavior rules.

Creative Management

All Creative objects are managed in:

Magify → Configurations → Remote Config → Creative

To create a new Creative, click Create New.

The Creative page provides a centralized view of all configured Creative objects.

The following filters are available:

  • Application — displays Creatives associated with the selected application;
  • Creative Type — filters Creatives by their type.

Each Creative belongs to a specific application and can only be used in campaigns associated with that application.

How Creative Works

A Creative contains the content displayed to the user but does not define when or under which conditions the content is shown.

Display logic is configured through Parent Campaigns and Nested Campaigns, which reference the selected Creative and deliver its content to the application.

As a result:

  • Creative defines what is displayed to the user;
  • Campaign defines when, to whom, and under which conditions the content is displayed.

This separation allows content and delivery logic to be managed independently.

Creative Types

The system supports the following Creative types.

Each Creative type has its own configuration, parameters, and usage scenarios. Click a Creative type in the table below to open its detailed documentation.

Detailed information about each Creative type is available in the corresponding articles linked above.

Creative Lifecycle

A single Creative can be used simultaneously by multiple campaigns.

After creation, a Creative can be edited and reused across different scenarios within the application.

The following statuses are available:

  • Active — the Creative is available for use in campaigns;
  • Archive — the Creative is excluded from active usage.

A Creative can only be archived if it is not used by an active campaign.

Documentation Structure

Documentation for each Creative type includes:

  • purpose and usage scenarios;
  • creation and configuration process;
  • parameter descriptions;
  • behavior and limitations.

Refer to the corresponding article for detailed information about a specific Creative type.
